Quick note: VB-G RAM G stands for Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin). It replaced MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) from 1 July 2026 and now guarantees up to 125 days of wage employment per rural household in a financial year.
VB-G RAM G wages differ by state because they are notified separately for each state and UT. The FY 2025-26 rates continue under the new scheme until a fresh notification is issued.

How Wages Are Paid
- Calculated from the muster roll based on attendance and work measurement
- Paid within 15 days of the muster roll closing
- Credited directly to bank/post-office accounts via DBT
- Delay compensation is payable if wages are late
